Our portfolio ranges from new contemporary homes to the sensitive reworking of historic buildings — each shaped by its material character and the rhythms of everyday life. Where a project involves new building form, we test massing, roof form and scale against the local vernacular — sometimes aligning with it, sometimes deliberately setting the new work apart — until the design earns its place.

We consider how each addition meets the existing building and landscape, from the overall form to the smallest junction. Material, proportion and light give each home its particular character.
